CC2M mass rapid transit corridor study was an investigation in to the social, cultural, environmental and economic issues and opportunities for mass rapid transport along the city centre to Māngere corridor.
Designed as a future spatial plan for Auckland Council to inform future planning responses in the area.
At the time of the Study Puāwai was a Principal Planner at Auckland Council and lead the investigation of the Corridor Study with a number of planners and urban designers. The Study was undertaken as a directive from Auckland Council committee. It was an information gathering exercise that has recently been used by the Light Rail Unit to understand further issues and opportunities for a mass rapid transit system in and along the Corridor.
